Case: Harris v. ZYSKOWSKI, Dist. Court, D. New Jersey 2013

Comment: As regular readers will know, one of my pet peeves is when people get arrested based on warrants that they had already “taken care of.” In this case Officer Zyskowski arrested on an eight year old warrant that had already been taken care of. Zyskowski could have made a few inquiries to determine conclusively that his suspect had already served his time instead of taking the lazy way out and relying on a database known to be unreliable. Now he gets no qi for plaintiff’s extra eight months in jail. Good!
