This blog generally stays away from deadly force cases where the plaintiff has been killed by police. Not that those cases are uninteresting, but they tend to get lots of attention elsewhere.

However, brief legal comment on the linked case: it is unusual to see the municipality not get sj on the “Monell” claims as happened here.
