Police cannot pump a person’s stomach for purpose of finding evidence

Case: BURKS v. CARTER, Case No. 5:10CV00358 BSM (E.D. Arkansas, March 5, 2013)

Comment: I did not know that. Apparently police can order stomach pumped if the person shows signs of overdose, but that was not the case here. In fact, the doctor denies that he pumped the stomach at all.
