Police, The Fourth Amendment, Qualified Immunity

Quick links to some typical unavailing suits

This blog does not focus exclusively on cases where the policeman did bad, but that is the primary focus here at police4aqi. Still, a fair number of cases where the policeman did good, or at least did acceptably okay, are blogged here, especially if there is video recording.

Today, something different. Some quick links to the type of cases I normally skip over very quickly and would not normally blog. These are cases against the police that I consider to be bad cases. Even though I don’t regularly blog these kinds of bad cases, they do come up regularly. Recent crop:

Guy with a gun won’t surrender to police, gets shot.

Drunk guy gets arrested at sporting event.

Murderer in prison sues for improper search occurring during the murder investigation.

Armed guy comes at police and requests to be shot.
