Police, The Fourth Amendment, Qualified Immunity

Another case out of Syracuse, NY and another opinion by Judge Suddaby. After the previous entry, I was all set to become vexed, especially because what is alleged in this case is an unjustified and overly rough stop and frisk. However, this time around Judge Suddaby’s thorough opinion persuades me that plaintiff had no case, and had brought a bad lawsuit to his Court. This kind of lawsuit is bad for the cause of good, just and reasonable policing. The opinion requests an order preventing this particular plaintiff from filing further lawsuits and I hope such an order issues.
