Case: THOMPSON v. GRIDA (6th Cir., Sep. 8, 2011)

What happened: is not clear. Police tell one story. Arrestee, who was charged with assault on a police officer, but was later acquitted tells a different story.

Decision: Police may end up being liable here. A jury is needed to resolve fact issues.
